Get fit in the pool with our new classes
We offer a range of gentle and more fitness orientated classes including Aqua Fit, Aqua Jog, Aqua Circuits and Aqua Zumba.
An aerobics session in the pool that can maintain and improve stamina, strength and suppleness as well as increase cardiovascular fitness. Unlike aerobics on land Aqua Fit is low-impact and the cushioning effect of the water protects joints in the spine, ankle, hip and knees. It is suitable for people of all ages and abilities as participants can work at a variety of levels by increasing effort and using resistive equipment.
Aqua Fit currently runs on Monday 2.00pm & 7.15pm, Wednesday 9.45am and Thursday 6.30pm.
An instructor led activity, for those who wish to use the positive benefits of water, such as resistance and buoyancy to gain a highly effective workout that has low or no impact on joints.
Aqua Jog runs on Mondays at 8.30pm* and Tuesdays at 7.00pm & 7.30pm.
*Mondays Aqua Jogging class is a Deep Water Aqua Jog Class.
For those who prefer a more targeted workout, Aqua Circuits is the aquatic equivalent to circuits in the gym. Based on a range of activities and movements, participants use equipment such as weights and specialised floats and move between stations to tone specific muscle groups. Workouts often include an element aimed at improving aerobic fitness.
Aqua Circuits runs on Mondays at 8.00pm and Thursdays at 7.15pm.
This energetic entertaining class blends together Zumba and aqua fitness into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that is cardio-conditioning, body toning and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief.
Aqua Zumba runs on Fridays at 9.30am.

Aqua HiiT Course
For a great total body workout try this high intensity short course. A fantastic calorie burner, water resistance to work muscles harder and low impact. Ask reception for course dates and times.
