Relax and enjoy our purpose built sensory room

Our purpose built sensory room is designed for disabled children and adults and under 5's and provides a relaxing environment that is interactive and fun.

Features include:

  • Ball pond with hoist access
  • UV light panel
  • Milky way carpet
  • Light totems
  • Interactive games panels
  • Fibre optic strands
  • Light projector
  • Soothing sounds and much more

We have recently added 2 support cushions that can be used to assist children in playing with the interactive games panels and also support them in the ball pool. A portable hoist is available to aid access to the ball pool, please ask for assistance, you must bring your own sling for this.

Special Offer

Try the sensory room for just £1 when you attend any of our under 5's activities.  Simply ask at reception when you purchase your ticket or arrive for your session.  Under 5's activities include Little Jumping Juniors, Dinomites, FUNdamentals gymnastics and Gym Tots.  Offer only valid on the same day as your under 5's activity session.

Using the menu:

  1. Click 'View'
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose 'Zoom in' or 'Zoom out'

Using the menu:

  1. Click on the spanner button to the right of the address bar

IE 9

In Internet Explorer 9 the always-visible control has been removed.

Using the menu:

  1. Click on the cog icon in the top right
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose the desired size

Keyboard shortcut: Hold the Ctrl key down and move the mouse wheel or by use Ctrl & '+' and Ctrl & '-'.

IE 8

IE 8 has a size-change facility permanently on view: the button in the bottom-right corner. This can be used to zoom the whole page (text and images).

Using the menu:

  1. Click 'View'
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose the desired size

Keyboard shortcut: Hold the Ctrl key down and move the mouse wheel back or forward.
