Exercise on Referral
Exercise helps reduce the risk of conditions such as heart disease, diabetes and obesity. Mole Valley's Exercise on referral programme at Dorking Sports Centre, supported by Surrey Downs Clinical Commissioning Group, is a healthy living and exercise programme to help improve the fitness and well being of local residents.
To take part you must be aged 16 years+ and be referred by a local healthcare professional including; GP's, nurses, mental health professionals, occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
On being referred you will be invited to an initial one on one consultation with an exercise on referral instructor who will discuss your health needs, goals and take measurements including; weight, blood pressure, waist circumference and resting heart rate. You will then complete 20 exercise sessions over a 12 week period which will include a mid course review and end of programme consultation. There will also be available staff throughout to offer support and advice.
At the end of the programme you will have the option to join at a reduced concession rate with no joining fee.
Starting payment options are:
One payment of £45.00 (equating to £2.25 per session)
Two payments of £25.00 (equating to £2.50 per session)
Four payments of £15.00 (equating to £3.00 per session)
