Sport & Remedial Massge with Paige Walker

Alongside Personal Training I have always wanted to progress into the Sports Massage background, to help rehabilitate, and improve an individual’s performance and progression.

I qualified as a Sport and Remedial Massage Therapist, and will now be offering treatment at the Centre.

Sport and Remedial Massage is beneficial to improve aches, pains, and recovery from an injury, which can result from training and exercise. However this is not limited just to sport and can also result from, lifestyle and occupational habits as well as poor posture. Treatment is also great at improving training and sports performance.

There are so many benefits to Sport and Remedial Massage-

  • Treatment of Soft Tissue problems and improvement in POSTURE, which can lead to injuries, increased muscle tensions aches, and pains if these are not correctly treated early.
  • Faster recovery from exercise/training.
  • Reduction in Post exercise muscle soreness (DOMS)
  • Reduction in scar tissue, inflammation, and stress. Whilst promoting relaxation.
  • Improve flexibility, joint mobility, and circulation.

Treatment can also be beneficial in improving a wide range of long term conditions such as-

  • Fibromyalgia
  • Frozen shoulder
  • ME
  • Repetitive strain injuries
  • Arthritis
