We have a number of clubs that hire our facilities available for adults and children to join.  We are committed to encouraging sports development to help you to enjoy sport as part of a healthy lifestyle as well as developing talent for the future.

Felixstowe Waves Swimming Club

Fekixstowe Leisure Centre is the home of Felixstowe Waves Swimming Club. Members range from those who want to learn to swim (aged 5 upwards) to established swimmers who regularly attend a variety of competitive galas. In addition there is a thriving Masters section for adults.

The club swimming times are:

Wednesdays 6.30am - 7.30am & 5.30pm - 7.30pm

Fridays 7.00pm - 10.00pm

Sundays 7.45am - 8.45am & 6.30pm - 9.00pm

Suffolk Coastal Torpedoes Water Polo Club

Felixstowe Leisure Centre is one of the homes of Suffolk Coastal Torpedoes Water Polo Club. Members range from those who want to learn to play polo (aged 7 upwards) to established players who regularly attend a variety of matches and leagues. We are lucky to be closely associated with the Regional Training Centre and East Regional level training. Some of our older girls are on the GB pathway and we feed the ICENI National Polo league team.

We have 3 squads:
Diddy – primary school children
Intermediates – entry squad for deep water
Junior squad – progression squad from Intermediates and adults
The club training times are:
Mondays 9-10pm Juniors at Deben Pool, Woodbridge
Tuesdays 8pm – 9pm Intermediates at Felixstowe Leisure Centre
(changing to Intermediates 8-8.45 and Juniors 8.45 – 9pm at Easter)
Thursdays 7pm – 8pm Diddy squad at Martlesham Beacon Hill Primary School Pool
Fridays 8.00pm - 9.00pm Intermediates and Juniors at Crown Pools, Ipswich

Text size controls

This web site has been built so that the text size can be increased or decreased through standard browser settings. Below is guidance on how to do this in a selection of popular browsers.

Firefox

Using the menu:

  1. Click 'View'
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose 'Zoom in' or 'Zoom out'

Keyboard shortcut: Hold the Ctrl key down and move the mouse wheel or by use Ctrl & '+' and Ctrl & '-'.

Chrome

Using the menu:

  1. Click on the spanner button to the right of the address bar
  2. Choose zoom '+' or '-'

Keyboard shortcut: Hold the Ctrl key down and move the mouse wheel or by use Ctrl & '+' and Ctrl & '-'.

IE 9

In Internet Explorer 9 the always-visible control has been removed.

Using the menu:

  1. Click on the cog icon in the top right
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose the desired size

Keyboard shortcut: Hold the Ctrl key down and move the mouse wheel or by use Ctrl & '+' and Ctrl & '-'.

IE 8

IE 8 has a size-change facility permanently on view: the button in the bottom-right corner. This can be used to zoom the whole page (text and images).

Using the menu:

  1. Click 'View'
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose the desired size

Keyboard shortcut: Hold the Ctrl key down and move the mouse wheel back or forward.
