RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Course (8th Edition)

Pre-requisites:
Jump / dive into deep water
Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds
Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back in deep water.
Tread water for 30 seconds
Surface dive to the floor of the pool
Climb out unaided without ladder / steps

 

With the new 8th Edition our trainers can also teach and assess the vital skills you need to use an AED (Automated External Defibrilator).

Using the menu:

  1. Click 'View'

Using the menu:

  1. Click on the spanner button to the right of the address bar
  2. Choose zoom '+' or '-'

IE 9

In Internet Explorer 9 the always-visible control has been removed.

Using the menu:

  1. Click on the cog icon in the top right
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose the desired size

Keyboard shortcut: Hold the Ctrl key down and move the mouse wheel or by use Ctrl & '+' and Ctrl & '-'.

IE 8

IE 8 has a size-change facility permanently on view: the button in the bottom-right corner. This can be used to zoom the whole page (text and images).

Using the menu:

  1. Click 'View'
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose the desired size
