Activities for the over 50s to enjoy
We have a number of activities aimed at those aged 50 or over.

5-0 Activity Mornings
Come and join in our 5-0 Activity Mornings for those over 50. Try a new activity such as badminton, short mat bowls, table tennis, racketball or enjoy a class, a swim or a workout in the gym.
Why don't you end your session with a chat and a coffee in our cafe so that you can get to know new like minded people.
Walking football is coming to Fleming Park Indoor & outdoor facilities so if you thought your football career was over think again.
Walking football is a slower paced version of the game, aimed at over 50's
Smaller pitches and plenty of breaks ensure participants enjoy a safe and enjoyable return to football. Rest assured that the slower pace doesn't detract from the competition though - its much more than a stroll in the park.
Come and give it a go - we know once you have tried it you will love it!
Walking football is a excellent opportunity for a bit of physical activity and the chance to meet new people and get out of the house.
Members of the older generation are being invited to take part at Fleming Park Leisure Centre walking football as a pathway back into regular exercise. Trial sessions will take place from Tuesday 4th November 11am-12:30pm. the First 4 weeks will be free to see how you go. Thereafter the session will only be £3 per session with a £10 registration free.
The main difference between walking football and standard game is two key rules no slide tackles and no running.
