Here at Glossop Leisure Centre we run a selection of personal One-2-One fitness courses aimed at supplementing your existing training programme. Each course consists of four 30 minute training sessions with one of our personal trainers.

Kett Fit

Complete body workout using kettle bells. Kett Fit is ideal for building strength and endurance, particularly in the lower back, legs, and shoulders, and increase grip strength. Not only is Kett Fit great at strength and endurance work, the nature of the workout makes it aerobic and therefore a great calorie burner.

Speedball

Fantastic dynamic core workout aimed at strengthening and toning your abs, back and waist. The workout uses medicine balls and Bosus and Swiss balls.

ViPR

Vitality, Performance and Reconditioning, ViPR is an all over body conditioning session. By throwing, flipping, lifting and swinging one of the ViPR tubes it provides a workout more effective than your regular weight training session.

TRX Suspension Training

TRX is a form of resistance training that uses gravity and your own body weight to provide challenging exercises that develop core body strength, as well as joint and muscular stability.

Using the menu:

IE 9

In Internet Explorer 9 the always-visible control has been removed.

Using the menu:

  1. Click on the cog icon in the top right
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose the desired size

Keyboard shortcut: Hold the Ctrl key down and move the mouse wheel or by use Ctrl & '+' and Ctrl & '-'.

IE 8

IE 8 has a size-change facility permanently on view: the button in the bottom-right corner. This can be used to zoom the whole page (text and images).

  3. Choose the desired size
