Keep the kids entertained in the holidays with our activities programme

We offer a range of activities for children during the school holidays including trampolining, gymnastics and swimming crash courses.

Children's Free Swimming

To receive free swimming children 15 years and under will need to register for a membership card.

Please note free swimming is only available during school holidays.

Participating North Wiltshire Places for People Sites:

  • Lime Kiln Leisure Centre - Royal Wootton Bassett. SN4 7HG
  • The Activity Zone - Malmesbury. SN16 0DQ
  • The Olympiad Leisure Centre - Chippenham. SN15 3PA

1. Any child wishing to apply must have completed a Places for People application for UNDER 16'S FREE SWIMMING DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS form. These are accessible from the leisure centres shown above

2. The child/childrens proof of age will be required and all forms must be completed at site and be signed by the parent.

3. There is no access to the pool for free unless the child is registered

4. One free swim, per child, per day – only valid during all welcome/public swim sessions

5. Ratios, terms and conditions apply

6. Even if you are registered at other Wiltshire Council leisure centres, you will still have to complete a Places for People application form for Lime Kiln Leisure Centre.

In Internet Explorer 9 the always-visible control has been removed.

Using the menu:

  1. Click on the cog icon in the top right
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose the desired size

Keyboard shortcut: Hold the Ctrl key down and move the mouse wheel or by use Ctrl & '+' and Ctrl & '-'.

IE 8

IE 8 has a size-change facility permanently on view: the button in the bottom-right corner. This can be used to zoom the whole page (text and images).

Using the menu:

  1. Click 'View'
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose the desired size
