Lessons

Are you looking for a great way to bond with a little one? Or do you want to find a fun new activity for both yourself and your little ones that will keep you active and teach you all an essential life skill?

If so we have the perfect activity – swimming lessons.

Being able to swim is a important life skill for everyone to learn. Once you're able to swim you can enjoy regular visits to the pool during term time as well as holiday fun with friends both in the UK and abroad.

Across all of the pools we manage, over 63,000 children are learning to swim each week, all gaining a valuable life skill. And it doesn't just stop there, we provide a fantastic online tool for parents to monitor their child's progress each week and move their child to a new class when they’re ready.

Whether it's building water confidence in babies and toddlers or teaching grandparents how to swim, we have something for everyone. Swimming is a fantastic way to enjoy family time and our pools offer a range of sessions and activities for you all to enjoy splashing around together. Take a look at our timetables online today and plan your next family visit.

Lessons follow the ASA Learn to Swim Framework taking your child from their first splash to full competence in the water.

" I couldn't have asked for better introduction to the pool when I signed my 3 kids up for swim lessons at Melksham Blue Pool (aged 5 yrs & twins aged 4 yrs) For us swimming is one of the main life skills that they must learn & starting them young has worked a treat for us.

They have all become so confident in the water with my 2 girls doing amazing at such a young age! My 4 year old little boy was petrified 6 months ago & he now happily jumps in the deep end with supervision & loves his swimming & he has built a great rapport with his swimming teacher (Sara Phelps). The teaching staff teach to a high standard with a fun element to keep the kids interested working towards badges & the next level. I really cant praise the team highly enough for what they have achieved for my three children in a relatively short amount of time" . Fiona

" I would just like to say ‘thank you’ for everything you’ve done so far regarding Bess’s achievement in the pool. She’s gone from non-swimmer to stage 6 in just over a year and would live in the pool given the chance. I always recommend you if anyone is looking to secure lessons for their children, not only because of the remarkable progress, but also because of the communication provided, from initial enquiry to completion of each stage ". Mary
