Aquatic Movement Therapy Sessions

 

An aquatic and swim related instructor led session for customers rehabilitating from Cardia or Stroke episodes.

9.30am-10.00am
Then each Tuesday (Term Time only)
£2.50 per session  includes a free hot drink.
Carers go free to session.

Places for People Leisure Management Ltd have been awarded a £2,000 grant by the Swimathon Foundation to provide Cardiac and Stroke Rehabilitation sessions based in the swimming pool.  The sessions will be led by qualified instructors and compliment the current Cardiac and Stroke Rehabilitation sessions which are based in the gym at the venue. 

 

 

 

The sessions will begin on Tuesday 7 June at Parish Wharf Leisure Centre, Portishead between 09.30 and 10.00 and the cost is £2.50 per session with the customers being provided with a free tea or coffee. 
Where the individuals require assistance, either changing or entering the pool the carer will be entitled to join these sessions for free. 
The sessions will run term time only and will be in the shallow water where all participants will be able to stand in the water while exercising in a safe and friendly environment.  As places will be limited or for further information then please contact Parish Wharf Leisure Centre on 01275 848 494.

IE 8

IE 8 has a size-change facility permanently on view: the button in the bottom-right corner. This can be used to zoom the whole page (text and images).
