Activities for the over 50s to enjoy

We have some dedicated and or suitable classes for adults aged 50+.

Here are some of our current sessions, but do check out our timetable for the full list of workout classes.

Always Active 50+

This session is open to all GP referral, COPD & Cardiac Rehabilitation scheme graduates to help you keep up a healthy & active lifestyle.

Monday 11.30am - 12.30pm

              12.45pm - 13.45pm

Line Dancing (all ages)

A low impact low intensity workout. A gentle class to country music that will give you a cardiovascular workout and help with co-ordination

Yoga (all ages)

Yoga is suitable for all ages and abilities, and is a structured series of postures, breathing techniques and guided relaxation designed to maximise vitality of body and mind.

Text size controls

This web site has been built so that the text size can be increased or decreased through standard browser settings. Below is guidance on how to do this in a selection of popular browsers.

Firefox

Using the menu:

  1. Click 'View'
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose 'Zoom in' or 'Zoom out'

Keyboard shortcut: Hold the Ctrl key down and move the mouse wheel or by use Ctrl & '+' and Ctrl & '-'.

Chrome

Using the menu:

  1. Click on the spanner button to the right of the address bar
  2. Choose zoom '+' or '-'

IE 9

In Internet Explorer 9 the always-visible control has been removed.

Using the menu:

  1. Click on the cog icon in the top right
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose the desired size

Keyboard shortcut: Hold the Ctrl key down and move the mouse wheel or by use Ctrl & '+' and Ctrl & '-'.

IE 8

IE 8 has a size-change facility permanently on view: the button in the bottom-right corner. This can be used to zoom the whole page (text and images).

Using the menu:

  1. Click 'View'
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose the desired size
