Shape-Up

Developed by experts in psychology, dietetics and physical activity, Shape-Up is an award-winning, innovative lifestyle programme to help adults manage their weight, improve their health, and their quality of life.
Shape-Up is not a diet or just another eating plan. And it’s not all about what the scales say. It is a psychological approach to managing eating and physical activity over the long term.
Shape-Up will help you to:

Boot Camp

Get in shape military style with our 4 week course of high energy training.

* Some classes will be conducted outside.

TRX

HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)

HIIT is a specialized form of interval training that involves short intervals of maximum intensity seperated by longer intervals of low to moderate intensity. Because it involves pushing yourself beyond the upper end of your aerobic zone, it offers several advantages that steady-state training can't provide:

  • It covers all aspects of training - aerobic and anaerobic
  • It works all major muscle groups
  • It increases the amount of calories you burn during your session
  • It increases your metabolic rate (you burn more fat for fuel)
  • suitable for all fitness levels, genders and ages
  • Release stress
  • Its FUN!

Kett Fit

Kett fit is a fantastic fitness course using Kettlebells.  You will go through a range of exercises which will help increase:

  • Muscle definition
  • Strength and power
  • Cardiovascular fitness
  • Metabolic rate

Other benifits of using this fantastic piece of equipment are:

  • Burn a higher rate of calories than traditional strength work

Using the menu:

Using the menu:

IE 9

In Internet Explorer 9 the always-visible control has been removed.

Using the menu:

  1. Click on the cog icon in the top right
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose the desired size

Keyboard shortcut: Hold the Ctrl key down and move the mouse wheel or by use Ctrl & '+' and Ctrl & '-'.

IE 8

IE 8 has a size-change facility permanently on view: the button in the bottom-right corner. This can be used to zoom the whole page (text and images).

Using the menu:

  1. Click 'View'
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose the desired size

Keyboard shortcut: Hold the Ctrl key down and move the mouse wheel back or forward.
