Winchester Saver Membership

Winchester saver membership is a scheme run by Winchester City Council that gives people on lower incomes the option to use the centre at a discounted rate.

Who Qualifies? 

  • Registered students with current NUS card
  • Registered unemployed, claiming income support or job seekers allowance
  • Registered disabled (incapacity benefit)
  • A lone parent receiving income support
  • Persons over 60 years of age
  • Carers

What do i need?

Proof of eligibility MUST be shown

  • NUS card
  • Letter of confirmation from Inland Revenue
  • Disability Card
  • Passport
  • Carers allowance

Proof of address MUST be shown

  • Utility bill, bank statement, telephone bill (from the last 3 months)
  • Council tax bill for the current year.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Discount card is not transferable
  2. Vaild card must be shown on entry visit
  3. Cards are vaild for one year from date of purchase
  4. Amended and defaced cards are invalid
  5. Cards will not be issued if staff are not satisfied with proof of eligibility
  6. The centre reserves the right to withdraw the membership if it becomes necessary to do so
  7. Please allow 10 days for processing

In Internet Explorer 9 the always-visible control has been removed.

Using the menu:

  1. Click on the cog icon in the top right
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose the desired size

Keyboard shortcut: Hold the Ctrl key down and move the mouse wheel or by use Ctrl & '+' and Ctrl & '-'.

IE 8

IE 8 has a size-change facility permanently on view: the button in the bottom-right corner. This can be used to zoom the whole page (text and images).

Using the menu:

  1. Click 'View'
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose the desired size
