Accessible Swimming Sessions for disabled children and adults

We have a number of dedicated sessions for people with a disability to use the pool.

The sessions are for those that have a temporary (recovering from injury / operation) or permanent mobility / physical impairment or a mental disability.
Sessions include:

  • A qualified swimming coach
  • Reduced capacity in the pool
  • Reduced noise level
  • Access to the pool hoists and specialised equipment
  • A warm welcome with meet and greet
  • Fully accessible changing facilities

Current Sessions: Our Swimming Satellites provide an opportunity for disabled people to gain confidence in the water. The fully qualified swimming instructors will work with the participants to improve swimming ability and provide an insight into competitive swimming.
