Adults Lessons & Workshops
Perhaps you haven't swum for years, want to feel more confident in the water or panic just thinking about putting your face underwater, the important thing to know is that you are not alone. One in 5 adults in the UK can't swim and for most of us the idea of taking the plunge can be overwhelming especially as we get older.
And yet swimming is a fabulous way to socialise, get fit or just enjoy family time with kids and grandkids. So stop worrying and learn to love the water with our adult swimming programme.
Unsure about starting? What can you expect?
Most sessions take things at a slower pace with our instructors offering a friendly and supportive enviroment in the pool. Workshops are designed for participants who can already swim a couple of metres on front and back and suits the needs of adults who want to learn to swim, improve strokes and increase stamina and speed.
Why not ask if you can watch a class or two to get a better idea of whether it's for you, or ask to speak with one of the teachers.
Stroke Technique - Hints & Tips
A drop in group session (30mins or 60mins) with an instructor at poolside assisting people with tips to improve their swimming techniques etc.
