Introduction to Gymnastics for Children (FUNdamentals)

Does your tot like to jump, crawl, roll and play?

FUNdamentals is a movement programme designed by British Gymnastics to help younger children from crawling to 5 years acquire essential physical, social and emotional life skills.

Each session is packed with stimulating, developmental activities that are bags of fun; Gymnastics, dance, music, rhythm, rhyme and more. Your child will be introduced to FUNKY CAT and friends and have the opportunity to earn badges and certificates (FUNdamentals Instructor Led Sessions Only).

 

Adult and Child FUNdamentals (Instructor Led)

£3.85 per session. Drop in sessions. Booking Advised.
FUNdamentals interactive class for children and parents/carers to help your child develop all the skills they need in life. 
Age: 18months – 3 years

Independant FUNdamentals (Instructor Led)

6 week course. £25 for the course
FUNdamentals gymnastics class where children learn and progress on their own without adult support and begin to take instruction by themselves. 
Age: 3 years – 4 ½ years
 

Tumble & Bounce Sessions (Free Play)

£3.00 per session. Drop in sessions. Booking advised.
An untaught session where children can experiment with the equipment and learn by doing and by exploring.
Age: Crawling - 5 years
 

Class days and times:

  • Monday - Adult and child 9.15am
  • Tuesday - Tumble and bounce 9.15am
  • Tuesday - Independant 11.30am
  • Wednesday - Independant 9.15am
  • Thursday - Tumble and bounce 1pm
  • Friday - Adult and child 12.30pm
  • Friday - Independant 4pm
  • Sunday - Adult and child 11.30am
  • Sunday - Tumble and bounce 1.15pm

Using the menu:

  1. Click 'View'
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose 'Zoom in' or 'Zoom out'

Chrome

Using the menu:

  1. Click on the spanner button to the right of the address bar
  2. Choose zoom '+' or '-'

IE 9

In Internet Explorer 9 the always-visible control has been removed.

Using the menu:

  1. Click on the cog icon in the top right
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose the desired size

Keyboard shortcut: Hold the Ctrl key down and move the mouse wheel or by use Ctrl & '+' and Ctrl & '-'.

IE 8

IE 8 has a size-change facility permanently on view: the button in the bottom-right corner. This can be used to zoom the whole page (text and images).

Using the menu:

  1. Click 'View'
  2. Click 'Zoom'
  3. Choose the desired size
