This Girl Can

Recently Sport England investigated why women are holding back from participating in sport and discovered that although 75% of the women asked would like to participate they were put off by the fear of being judged on their ability and appearance.

The This Girl Can campaign focuses on real women after researchers found that elite sportswomen and celebrities were seen as off-putting and their performance unattainable.

We fully support the campaign aims and are pleased to provide safe and friendly centres for women of all ages to enjoy a wide variety of ways to exercise, get fitter, have fun and make friends.

Why not meet some of our amazing girls across our centres? We hope you can become inspired by a few of their stories and see a bit of yourselves within them.
