Ante and Post natal activities
Being fit and healthy is a big part of modern day life. Exercise as we know holds many benefits, this is no different during pregnancy – in fact the benefits are higher. Exercise during pregnancy has found to:
- Reduce the risk of pregnancy complications.
- Lowers the odds of delivery complications.
- Boost your mood.
- Lower blood pressure.
- Ease back and pelvic pain.
- Improve sleep.
All of the above doesn’t end with keeping your own body in good health. Our Ante & Post natal activities will in fact help have a healthy newborn. This can be from reducing the odds of diabetes, boast brain health and have a fitter, healthier heart. We now have instructors on site who are qualified in Pre and Post Natal care. This means we are adding Ante & Post natal activities to our already varied programme.
Pre and Post natal circuit class/Buggy push (Spring/Summer)
Tuesday 14:00 -15:00pm
A circuit based class using balls, bands and optional hand weights aimed at post natal women. Your baby (up to 9 months) can come along too, in either a pushchair or car seat.
