The Royal Life Saving Society National Pool Qualification is the most awarded lifeguard qualification in the UK, it is widely accepted as a minimum qualification for a role as a Lifeguard. The qualification is made up of three units:
1. The lifeguard and the Law, Swimming Pool and Supervision
2. Intervention and Rescue and Emergency Action Plans
3. CPR, AED and First Aid
Course dates: Monday 20th to Friday 24th February 2017
Course Time: 6am - 3pm
Course Venue: Wyre Forest Leisure Centre
Cost: £220 (Student Discount Available)
Applicants must be competent to jump/dive into deep water, swim 50 metres in no more than 60 seconds, swim 100 metres continuously on front and back, tread water for 30 seconds in deep water, surface dive to the deepest part of the pool and climb out of the pool unaided without using steps or ladder.
Additional Emergency First Aid and AED Courses may be available.
