Award Win for Sports Development Team

Our year got off to a flying start with the Places for People Leisure’s Sports Development Team being awarded the Highest Scoring Sports Development Team for 2014 at the recent Quest Conference. This is the second year running that the team has won this accolade, demonstrating their hard work and commitment to sport and physical activity in the local community.

Commenting on the award, Partnership Director, Rich Millard said: “This is a fantastic achievement for the Group and I would like to personally congratulate the Sports Development team for their continued success. I believe it’s our passion and genuine desire to continually improve that provides the cornerstone of our achievement.”

Quest is a tool for continuous improvement, defining industry standards, good practice and encouraging ongoing development and delivery within a customer focused environment, designed primarily for the management of leisure facilities and sports development.

Quest’s operations director, Caroline Constantine, adds: “Congratulations to the team at Places for People Leisure. Being recognised as the highest-scoring sports development team to go through Quest is an extremely impressive achievement, which highlights the team’s commitment to providing quality service to its customers.”
