Engaged Workforce Key to Customer Experience
Each year we provide our 8,000 employees across the UK with the opportunity to complete a staff survey. We are extremely proud of our results year on year and the engagement levels of our employees. We understand that having engaged staff means that the team relish being at work each day, they provide a great service to our customers and, in many cases, develop their careers with us.
Feedback from the annual survey allows us to truly understand what our staff value and how we can improve things. Our career development programme, Rising Stars, has been designed and implemented as a result of our staff survey, along with a new uniform to empower our team.
Key findings of the survey:
- 71% of employees participated (65% of our workforce work part time).
- Employee Engagement indicator of 85% (UK average of 63%).
- 94% believe in our mission to create active places and healthy people.
- 98% put customers at the heart of everything they do.
