Places for People Leisure Strengthen Team with Two New Appointments
Places for People Leisure have welcomed two new employees to the team to fulfil the roles of customer experience manager and training and development manager. Andy Glover has been appointed as the new customer experience and relationship manager and Kiira Gamble has been appointed as the training and development manager.
Andy Glover was appointed at the start of January as the customer experience and relationship manager which is a new role that has been designed to ensure that leisure centre members are met with the highest standards of service both face to face and online. Andy, will be responsible for developing service standards, strengthening brand preference, increasing revenue from existing customers and new sales and also improving customer loyalty.
Andy had previously worked in customer relations for 11 years, at Vodafone where he began as a Senior Sales Adviser, dealing directly with customers. Through his work he has developed extensive knowledge on the needs of customers, both consumer and corporate. He worked his way up the company to earn the title of Customer Development Manager, shaping Customer Experiences, monitoring a range of customer measurements and managing a number of Customer Improvement projects. In 2012, he moved on to become a supplier to leading retail brands for Immedia Broadcast where he managed a portfolio of accounts on established companies such as Superdrug and Topshop.

Kiira Gamble was also appointed at Places for People Leisure as the new training and development manager to implement and review the Training Plan to ensure that existing and future needs of the business are met. Her key responsibilities will be to identify new training and development needs, evaluate all programmes to ensure they remain fit for purpose and to create a framework for career pathways. Kiira has considerable experience in the corporate market over a variety of sectors, including work with a number of global organisations such as British Airways, Microsoft and Royal Mail. She has achieved success in leading learning and development teams as well as designing her own portfolio of behaviour based workshops.
