Quest Stretch 'Outstanding' for Sports Development
We are proud of our reputation within the Leisure Industry for Sports Development and were the first leisure operator to achieve Quest Stretch 'outstanding' for Sports Development.
We ensure best practice is maximised from our 113 sites whilst ensuring our staff understand the needs of their particular communities.
We have developed a wide range of wet activities within our Swimming Academy (learn to swim) brand and continue to develop Dry Sports through partnerships with NGBs, innovative programming and marketing.
We recognise the key role that our Coaches and Instructors play and together with Clubs and Volunteers we aim to inspire our communities into having a lifelong habit of participating in Sport.
We have programmes to capitalise on opportunities for inspiration and legacy arising from the 2012 Olympics, Paralympics and Cultural Olympiad and support local schemes for talent development.
We aim to ensure everyone has equal access to affordable, high quality sports activities and continuously review our programmes to meet people’s ever changing needs.
We aspire to ensure consistency and continuity through all levels of our provision enabling the continuation of opportunities for children/young people to stay in sport long term.
Our programmes are aligned with the Social Inclusion policies of our Clients, ensuring that evidence and collation of data reflects industry indicators.
Activities are relevant and realistic to people’s needs and we will change them according to popular demand. Our aim is to broaden the base of activities and widen the life experiences available to them. Sport enables people to try new things as part of a group, participate in activities they can't do alone and it helps people sustain their physical activity levels.
We ensure the marketing of our activities links into easily recognisable healthy lifestyle and health improvement terminology that people are familiar with and find appealing and motivating.
