Making the team

Here are the clubs that use our centre.

Belper Marlins

The club was formed in 1977, but our origins go back long before then (see the History page). Our main squad sessions take place at the Belper Leisure Centre in Belper, whilst our Learn to swim programmes take place in Heanor and Alfreton. We provide competitive swimming for children of all ages and also have a Masters section for the adults.

Alfreton Swimming Club

Alfreton Swimming Club was established in 1966 so we have been teaching young people to swim for more than 45 years.

Rascals Swimming Club

We take children from the age of 5, and teach them the four basic swimming strokes in the small pool. They progress to swimming in the main pool, learning skills such as diving and tumble turns, and develop their stamina by swimming longer distances.

Kimberley Swimming Club

Kimberley Swimming Club is a swimming club that develops young swimmers for competitive swimming. Our aim is to produce swimmers who represent Kimberley at inter-club galas, in the Nottinghamshire leagues, County Galas and in the Midland District Competitions.
