Sessions are aimed at babies and toddlers aged between 0-5 years old and aim to build the foundation for a lifelong love of water.

Aquatic Skills Lessons

Swimming Lessons in the new Places Leisure Eastleigh

As you are aware the new leisure centre is due to open in November and we are all very excited to move into our new facility.

We have reviewed our swim programming and in the new centre we will be running swimming lessons from Mondays – Saturdays. The new programme will mean we will be able to offer more swimming lessons which means more people will have the opportunity to learn to swim in our community.

With the review of the swim program we have made adjustments to some of the times of our current swimming lessons. There will be additional lessons in Stages 1 - 5, however some of the Stage 4 and above lessons have moved to different times.

If your child is in Stages 4 and above please contact (02380 684 809) or pop into the swimming office next time you are in the centre to be advised of the new program times. The new program will also be viewable on the home portal and you will be able to move your child via the home portal system.

The last date for swimming lessons in the current building will be Monday 27th November.

When the new centre opens; we will have additional staff (Placemakers) on hand to help you with any questions you may have and to help you navigate your way around. We suggest that for the first few weeks of lessons in the new site; you may want to leave additional time to get used to the new procedures and have a look round the fantastic new facility!

In order to ensure the safety of your child; the same drop off and pick up procedures will apply in the new centre. You will need to drop your child off with their teacher on poolside and pick them up from the designated area on poolside when their lesson has finished.

We are currently recruiting for Swimming Teachers for our new site. If you are interested in finding our more about this flexible rewarding job; please contact Andy (swimming coordinator) on (andywallace-grundy@pfpleisure.org) to find out more about local training opportunities.

You will have the opportunity to move your child/children to other lessons during the week:
