3 races, 3 towns, 3 days - the challenge is yours!

The Mid Sussex Marathon is back for its seventh year! In 2017 over 1000 runners took part - this year we want even more contenders!

There are 3 races over the weekend - two 10 mile races in both East Grinstead and Haywards Heath and the 10kilometre in Burgess Hill. All three combine to cover a total of 26.2 miles - the distance of a marathon.

Runners are are able to enter each race individually or complete all three. Individual race medals are offered plus a special medal for the running them all.

  • Saturday 5th May 2018: East Grinstead 10 mile
  • Sunday 6th May 2018: Haywards Heath 10 mile
  • Monday 7th May 2018: Burgess Hill 10 kilometre

Mid Sussex Mile - 10am

The Mid Sussex Mile fun runs will be held an hour before each of the main races. Staged in conjunction with local clubs including East Grinstead Athletics Club, Haywards Heath Harriers and Burgess Hill Runners, the Mile fun runs are a great opportunity for juniors, adults and families to be involved in the Weekend event.

Fun Run - 9.30am

New for 2018, this is an ideal event for people of all ages and abilities to take part in. There is no pressure and participants can just run for fun!

Ideal for all ages and abilities, this provides a great way to join together with family, friends and colleagues to get active, raise money for charity or just simply enjoy being part of an inspiring, motivating and rewarding event. Plus you’ll even receive a medal for finishing
