Fitness Refurbishment Works 21st August 2017 - 9th September 2017

We are SO excited for the gym refurbishment, which sees part of the £450k enhancement works at Ongar Leisure Centre, commence on the 21st August 2017.

Please see below our alternative activity schedule for the dates our gym is closed for refurbishment. Remember that all studio fitness classes, including our new virtual RPM sessions will be running as normal, however the studio's must be accessed via the side fire exit doors.

All extra activities can be booked at reception but not via the app or website. All supervised training sessions will run as drop in sessions therefore will not need to be booked.

Activity Descriptions

Supervised Training - Drop in session:

Various studio equipment and workout stations will be set up in the studio for members to use at their own leisure. Equipment will include our Les Mills Smart Bars and Weights, Boxing gloves and punchbag, exercise balls, matts and dumbbells as well as floor space for cardiovascular and bodyweight training.

Each session will be supervised by on of our friendly instructors who will be available to motivate you, lend you a helping hand or follow one of our pre-written workout cards!

Members can enter and leave the studio at anytime between the designated training times.

 

Junior Circuits:

This gives our juniors a chance not to miss out on the action - why not train as a family? All ages from 11 years are welcome along to this session. * Don't forget that our junior members can attend any drop in session if accompanied by a member over the age of 16 years.

 

Cardio Circuit

If you're missing your cardiovascular machines, why not come along to our cardio circuit and enjoy 45 minutes of cardio intervals including shuttle runs, high intensity intervals and other bodyweight exercises to work up a sweat and burn those calories!
