Go4Goal Holiday Camp

May half term

FUTSAL HALF TERM DEVELOPMENT CAMP (Under 7 to Under 14s, boys and girls welcome)

Tuesday 29 to Thursday 31 May

Go4Goal are running a Taster Futsal Development Camp at Tolworth Recreation Centre during the May half-term holidays.

The camps are for players of all abilities for Under 7 to Under 14s (school year’s 2-9) and will give participants a chance to experience one of the fastest growing sports around at the moment. There is also a GIRLS ONLY specific camp, for players of the above age groups as well.

Futsal is a fast, exciting and action-packed version of 5-a-side football. The emphasis is on encouraging good technical and skilful play, allied to great decision-making with creativity being important in demanding siuations. The ball bounces lower than a normal football and spends more time on the ground. What’s more, goalkeepers are heavily involved in the game, being a key player.

It helped to make players such as Lionel Messi, Neymar and Andres Iniesta who they are today and now Futsal is growing as a sport to play in its own right.

The 3-hour camp will be led by our UEFA B Futsal qualified head coach, Luis Melville who has 13 years’ experience of Futsal and there will be plenty of game time throughout.
