Train to become a Lifeguard

NPLQ Course 23rd to 27th October

The Royal Life Saving Society National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)

 It is widely accepted as a minimum qualification for a role as lifeguard. The qualification is made up of three units:

  1. The lifeguard and the Law, Swimming Pool and Supervision
  2. Intervention and Rescue and Emergency Action Plans
  3. CPR, AED and First Aid 

 Course Dates 23rd to 27th October 2017 (assessment on Sunday 29th October)

Cost £220

Course pre-requisites - applicants must be competent to jump/dive into water, swim 50 metres in no more than 60 seconds, swim 100 metres continuously on front and back, tread water for 30 seconds in deep water, surface dive to the deepest part of the pool unaided without using steps or ladders.
